Welcome to Imagine Novel, a digital literary arts studio.

Imagine Novel grew as an idea from the walls of a rented bedroom in a townhouse at the edge of historic Old Town in Gresham, Oregon circa 2008.

Initially, Imagine Novel was inspired by the song “Imagine” by John Lennon and Yoko Ono . For decades, this writing closet has been a private affair, but the time has come to open the studio.

In 2021 Imagine Novel entered the digital space and has seen many iterations over the years. Moving forward, this site will feature creative work with the aim to empower and inspire others to create as well as promote the craft of storytelling.

The Body Memory Love

A now-unpublished novel that integrates analysis of user behavior across a digital landscape into storytelling structures. Made available for a time on this platform. The end of the world is slow and marked with the notes of extinction and disillusionment. June and Adam fight for their marriage as society and the environment collapse in a 100 year apocalypse. The Body Memory Love asks the question what happens to love when all you see is the end?

Arise the Independent Artist

The author of this site dedicated their life to the arts and left the home they loved to do it. Never stopped missing home. It’s a fight. It’s okay to give up. Easier to win the lottery. If you’re priority is to make money and become famous, you’re in it for the wrong reasons. The arts are a spiritual calling. Do it for the love. For your community. For the collective creative expression that purges and washes the negative and toxic energy of sociopathic robotic structures, prioritizing the needs of the body over the needs of the spirit.

Love is evolution. We can’t lose the arts. We can’t. We need to save a non-denominational space for the arts. You try try again. We lose the arts. We lose ourselves and the ability to dream.

Imagine Novel is a dream . A fight to save a place for our souls to create and feel and experience the beauty of the world.

Technology and art need one another. Otherwise.

The author came home. May never get traditionally published, because creating is about feeding a community you love.

Come home. Imagine Novel. Build dreams together with the people you care and love and who truly matter.
